This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you use our mobile application Hidden Camera Detector (the “App”), including when you interact with our in-app features, subscriptions, and support channels. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, additional rights under applicable data protection laws are summarized in Section 9. If you are a California resident, please see Section 10.
Hidden Camera Detector is developed and published by Findy. For data protection purposes, Findy is the data controller for personal data processed through the App. For privacy-related requests, use the contact details in Section 14.
This policy applies to personal data processed through the App. It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or apps that we do not control, even if linked from the App.
We collect information in the following categories, depending on how you use the App and your device settings.
The App may request access to capabilities on your device solely to provide advertised functionality. You can deny or revoke permissions in your device settings; some features may not work without them.
Where GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

Specific SDKs and providers may change as we update the App; the App Store privacy nutrition labels and in-app disclosures supplement this policy.
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. Retention periods vary:
You may request deletion of personal data we hold where applicable (see Section 9/10), subject to exceptions (e.g., completed transactions we must retain for tax or fraud prevention).
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit where applicable, access controls, and vendor diligence. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
To exercise these rights, contact us at the email in Section 14. We may need to verify your request.
California residents may request to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing (we do not “sell” personal information as defined in CCPA/CPRA). You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights. Authorized agents may submit requests with proper authorization.
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
We may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers from the EEA/UK/Switzerland to countries without an adequacy decision.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice as required by law (e.g., in-app notice or email where appropriate).
